Shawn Esposito grew up on a steady diet of sci-fi, horror, comic books, cartoons, skateboarding and music videos. These inspirational interests would eventually lead to the professional world of visual arts.

After earning a BFA in film from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Shawn moved to Los Angeles to begin a career in VFX, television, commercials and animation.

Feature film visual effects and commercial work balances out his TV work. Designing everything from logos, titles and full graphics packages to performance screens. Shawn has worked in both live and scripted television and in virtually every genre of entertainment: comedy, music, award shows, Late Night, daytime, talk, Entertainment news, reality and episodic series.

His ability to combine different styles into a cohesive whole is one of his trademarks. The intersection of visual effects, typography, playful comedy, pop culture references and a cool “punkrock” aesthetic has been a major theme in Shawn’s work since the beginning of his career.

Thousands of renders later, he is still creating art—and meeting deadlines—every day.
